We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at a locally owned establishment in the South Bend area.
5:30-7:00 p.m. November 19th
Join us Tuesday, November 19th, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at the Langlab at 1302 High Street, South Bend, IN 46601. We will hear an update from the City of South Bend’s Office of Sustainability! They will discuss South Bend’s updated Climate Action Plan, 2023 achievements, and plans for 2024. The Climate Action Plan will be available for public comment October 30 - November 30 at https://together.southbendin.gov/climateactionplan.
We will also have the opportunity to learn about the Langlab and get a tour! LangLab is an arts and business incubator which has served the community for nearly 15 years. They provide live entertainment, studio space and other resources for local artists, and were the initial starting place for various organizations that now make up the fabric of our city, including; Eco Owl Press, Purple Porch Co-Op, Cloud Walking Coffee, South Bend Latin Dance, and South Bend Lyric Opera.
South Bend Green Drinks began in 2009 with a handful of people gathering together. That handful of people has grown into 20-30 each month. People from all walks of life come together over their common interest in sustainability, the environment, and all things green.
